If you use astringent products you will start a chain reaction, whereby your skin becomes too dry, so your body automatically creates more sebum to compensate, which blocks your pores, which creates more blackheads.

Start following a daily exfoliating routine to get rid of dead skin cells. Ensure that you only use the gentlest exfoliating mask, so that you dont damage your skin. You will quickly find that this helps to prevent your pores from blocking up. Start eating more of the right kinds of foods. By doing this you will reduce the production of sebum, increase skin moisture, and increase the production of new, healthy skin cells.
