As an ex acne sufferer myself I was always on the lookout for natural acne cures because I was scared as to what the chemicals in most topical treatments could do to my skin. There are so many natural treatments out there but the trouble is picking the winners from the bogus ones as some actually do nothing to enhance your skin quality.

I know just how embarrassing it is to have acne on your face and I hated to look into the mirror each and every day so here are some quick natural acne cures that may help your skin.

1. Yogurt has been long recognised for its antibacterial properties as it actually contains a lot of the good bacteria that your body needs inside it. Yogurt is basically the fermented milk just before it has gone into lactic acid so that is why it is in a think consistency and with a low pH level it can help out your skin. A face mask with all natural yogurts three times a week for 5 minutes each will help to reduce redness and kill off bacteria.

2. Jojoba oil is a skin miracle worker and it is the extract from the jojoba nut. This oil helps as a natural acne cure because it helps to balance skin tone and moisturise the skin as well. If you suffer from flaky skin from your face cleanser then I suggest thing oil as well as it as has great moisturising capabilities. Four to five drops on your skin morning and night will help to prevent breakouts and you can get it from your local chemist for relatively cheap.

The Ultimate Answer For Clearing Your Acne

For many people who suffer from acne, the battle involves using various acne products over and over and over without improvement. For some, the creams help keep their acne under control, most of the time, but theyre never really cured of their problem.

If this sounds like you, then maybe youre ready to try something different. Maybe its time for you to consider going deeper with your acne routine — a detoxification.

Body toxicity is becoming more of an issue every day thanks to air and water pollution, the many chemicals found in processed foods, heavy metals in fish, pesticides, and our reliance on prescription drugs.

Our bodies generally process toxins through our liver and kidneys. The toxins are then excreted through our bowels, urine and perspiration. When our liver and kidneys become overloaded, theyre not able to expel the toxins efficiently, so they build up in our bloodstream. Ultimately, the toxins are secreted through the skin, which irritates the pores and causes acne.

When your body is under this much stress, its best to go through a detoxification, which can last anywhere from a couple of days to a month or more. The length and intensity of your detoxification varies depending on the severity of your case and the type of program you choose.

Although the process of detoxification has been used for thousands of years in certain parts of the world, people in the U.S. have been known to turn up their noses at natural remedies, until recently. Today, its not uncommon to find medical doctors who are rooted in their Western medicine come to recognize the value of alternative medicine.

There are various ways to cleanse your body from the inside out to rid yourself of acne. Combine several to increase the impact of your detoxification.

Hydration: Water is the bodys way to carry toxins out of the system. Drink large amounts of water during your detoxification to dilute the toxins and cleanse them from your body. Most detoxification plans call to increase the amount of water that you drink.

Hyperthermia: Hyperthermia is the process of raising the bodys temperature, which, as with a fever, allows the body to fight disease, expel toxins and open the skins pores.

Fasting: Fasting is the most common type of detoxification and has been used since the times of Ancient Greece. The body exerts a lot of energy digesting food after youve eaten. Only after the food is digested, is the body able to get on to other tasks like cleansing the organs. Fasting helps your body by allowing it to rest and work on the important task of detoxification. The thought of depriving yourself of food is scary, and so if you have trouble fasting, you can incorporate all natural juices into your routine. Juices help fight off hunger and give you nutrients that can be depleted during your detoxification. Apple juice in particular can be helpful as its a natural cleanser.

Detoxification Products: You can find a wide array of products at natural food stores designed to aid in the detoxification process. Consider purchasing products that target specific organs such as your kidneys, liver and colon separately.

What to Expect: Be prepared to get lots of rest during your detoxification. Detoxifying can release large amounts of toxins from your organs into your system before your bowels and urine expel the toxins. This can cause flu-like symptoms for the first few days that may include nausea, diarrhea, headaches and achy muscles. However, once the toxins are released, youll notice an increase in energy, a clearing of your skin as well as many other benefits.

Consult your physician prior to beginning any detoxification plan.br

Acne Cures – 2 Do's & 2 Don't's

Acne is not fun. It is embarrassing, and unsightly. People spend millions of dollars every year trying to clear their skin. Little do they know, that they might be doing something wrong and essentially, making their acne worse. I have tried literally hundreds of different products and systems trying to find the best acne cure. I found it, and I am here to give some advice on how to get rid of your pimples.

Zits are caused by pores being clogged by oils, grease, dirt, bacteria, and other environmental toxins. You need to remove all of these in order to effectively clear your skin. There are some ways that work great, and there are some that do not work at all. How are you supposed to know what to do when trying to find the acne cure that works for you? Here are two things you should do, and two things you shouldn’t do.

Should Do:

1. Keep Your Face Clean
You hear it a thousand times, but a clean face is the first step to clearing your skin. But there are many different soaps and cleansers out there, how do you choose the right one? You want to make sure there are no fragrances in the soap. Fragrances have oils and alcohols in them that can clog pores and make your acne worse. Also you want a gentle cleanser. Try to find a soap that is pH balanced for your skin type. If you have sensitive skin, do not get a soap formulated for oily skin. Wash your face twice daily; once when you wake up, and once when you go to bed. This is not too often that it will dry your skin out, but frequent enough to keep the dirt, bacteria, etc. off.

2. Eat Healthier
Believe it or not, the food you eat does have an effect on your complexion. Try to eat fruits, vegetables, fish, and grains. These will give you the essential vitamins you need to sustain healthier skin. Fried foods, and generally “unhealthy” foods are going to cause more breakouts.

Should Not Do:

1. Touch Your Face
Think of everything you touch everyday. Now think that every time you touch anything, germs and bacteria are transferred to your hands. Now, when you touch your face, these germs and bacteria are transferred to your face. If you want to find the perfect acne cure, you are going to have to stop touching your face first.

2. Use Harsh Chemicals
I have written before, that I used to go out to try to find the astringent with the highest salicylic acid content. What this was doing was overly drying my skin and causing more breakouts. If you want to clear your skin, find something that naturally kills germs and bacteria. The less chemicals you use on your face, the better.

These are some basic techniques involved in clearing your skin. If you want to learn more about effective acne cures, visit my blog, Acne Cures, at http://easyclearskin.blogspot.com
