Beauty has become a necessity today. Everybody wants to have that flawless skin of the models. Media has raised the standards high for an average person and we all tend to follow what movies and television show us.

In order to get that perfect look, skin care plays a very vital role. After all skin is an integral part of one’s looks. Therefore, it gets most of our attention. And acne is one of the foremost problems we face when it comes to skin. So here are some easy tips for skin care and acne relief:

1.It is believed by many of us that dirty pores are the major reason behind the acne problems. No doubt cleaning of your face is very important in acne skin care but scrubbing may not be required.

Thus in order to avoid inflammation of the oil glands the best thing you can do is start cleaning your face twice- once in the morning and then at night. Do not scrub your face and ensure that the cleanser you use is mild.

2.When bacteria starts growing in your oil glands, it results in acne. The best way to avoid acne is to wash one’s face with warm water first and then wash it with cold water.

3.There is a wide range of treatments available in the market for skin care to prevent acne, but there are certain things that one could get just over the counter. These would contain salicylic acid and benzyl peroxide in moderate amount.

But it is always recommendable to first give a try to a lesser percentage of these chemicals and try the higher only if the lower percentage product does not work for you. One may find it an expensive treatment but getting rid of acne is also important.

4.Not only keeping your face clean will give you an acne free skin but you have to keep your hairs clean too. So, if you have oily skin, you might also have oily hair. Acne problems can worsen if your forehead is exposed to oily hair and you may be required to wash your hair daily.

5.To avoid acne, one needs to take bath very frequently, as clean skin would lead to a healthy skin. Avoid popping your zits.

These 5 tips are important for having a healthy, spotless skin.

There are people who are having quite emotional and psychological problems due to acne as it proves a friend who is hard to get away. If you are not suffering from acne, you should consider yourself lucky and make sure to adapt preventive methods. As they say prevention is better then cure. Though Acne cannot be fully prevented as it is hormonal but the following should be adapted to avoid Acne:

 Regularly washing your skin softly with a good cleanser everyday is the most important habit that helps prevent acne. But you should be careful not to do excessive cleansing as it may irritate your skin and can be hazardous to any acne you currently have. After sweating too much, it would be better to tenderly wash your face with an effective cleanser as the sweet mixed with oil coming out of the body can block the pores.

 Bursting any existing pimples would do nothing, but simply cause infections that would pave the way for acne and scars.

 Tight clothing should be avoided at all times especially when you exercise. Sweat containing oil coming out from your body will excessively get absorbed into your body which will block the pores of your skin and cause acne.

 Adding multi-vitamin foods in your lunch and dinner would help your skin to be healthy and won’t cause dead cells.

 For men, shaving carefully with a safe razor would help prevent acne from appearing on face. There are razors in markets that are of low quality and irritate skin, those must be avoided.

There are so many acne skin treatment myths out there that can actually cause even more problems for those suffering from this irritating skin condition. Fiction stories about acne treatment often have zero scientific truth and more often are the result of ignorance on the real causes of acne and how it can best be treated. So before you jump on any acne treatment bandwagon, be sure your choice of treatment is based on reality and not some slick sales pitch.

One myth about acne skin treatment is that you should scrub your skin every day. Actually many dealing with acne have the tendency to excessively scrub their face in false hope that it will better cleanse the pores and in effect reduce the breakouts. But this is simply not true. In fact, the irritated skin has to be treated gently, meaning don’t scrub it, but instead wash gently with a mild cleanser. Scrubbing the face can cause exacerbations, inflammation and even more irritation.

Another myth is that sweating cleans out the pores, and again reducing acne breakouts. There are many who believe that sweating is one way to treat acne. Again, not true. It takes water and a gentle cleanser for pore cleaning and not sweating. Furthermore, ignoring the sweat can lead to even more skin break-outs if you don’t take the time to effective cleanse your skin following any sweat inducing activity.

Next, there are other falsehoods that say you should use super-drying skin care products in order to banish oil and beat break-outs. But don’t you know that the skin needs oil to keep it healthy? Yes, it’s true. So, don’t be deceived, super-drying the skin is not an effective treatment methodology. It’s a trick, and it’s silly. Again, stick with the tried and true method of washing your face with gentle cleansers that are not excessively drying to the skin.

Have you heard about the many medications available on the market today for acne treatment? How many have you tried already? Do you still believe that trying lots and lots of acne medication will totally set you free? This is another myth that is can actually cause more harm than good. You must work quite closely with your health care provider in order to find the best treatment option for you. And yes, it may include acne medication.

Remember, the best thing to do is to work very closely with your health care provider to find the best acne skin care treatment for you. Don’t believe everything that you read when it comes to finding the right treatment for you. But rest assured, with proper care and attention to your skin there is hope for you.

Even though the attack of acne spares none, it is more among the males. Stats state that 80% of males as against 70% of females are the acne suffers. But the psychological impact of the acne attack is more among the female, for obvious reasons!

If it is an ordinary acne attack, hopefully it will come and go. In the meantime, you need to try your best for its speedy disposal, with over the counter medications, in consultation with your trusted doctor; using cleansers, gels or creams.

Many a times, attack subsides itself, even without your efforts. As, many of the acne attacks do not require any treatment as such! According to the school that belongs to natural and herbal acne treatment, acne is the process of the internal mechanism of your body. The internal body expels out the impurities lying within through the skin. And when that natural process is going on why should you create obstacles in its operation of clean-up? You are unnecessarily straining the layers of your skin by using medications. Though, this holds true to mild acne attack only.

But, when it comes to treating highly visible scars, the treatment mode has to change. When the attack of acne takes a severe form, it can lead to pustule and papule formation. This type of acne is called cystic acne. Cystic acne is bound to leave scars all over your face, when it goes. These are also known as hypertrophic, lumpy areas and they are clearly visible. The marks are hard to hide, even with the thick make up coats.

One of the methods to treat these scars is through laser treatment. Cryotherapy is another type of treatment to deal with these scars. Repeated freezing technique is employed to gently shrink the scar tissue. But then, even cryotherapy has its limitations in treating the warts or scars. For, human papillomavirus is not tackled and killed by cryotherapy. It spreads in to the surrounding tissues. The immune system within the body will normally take care of the virus, but sometimes, blisters appear as the side effects. You need to take into account this disadvantage of the treatment depending upon which part of your body the scars exist.
